The
Gardener's Journal offers a private invitation to viewers to peek
over the backyard fence of breathtaking and inspiring private gardens.
Host Kathy Renwald joins her guests each week on a journey of discovery
in their gardens. These
friendly, informative strolls reflect the growing diversity of gardening
styles. The private gardens range from immense perennial borders
in the English style, to urban gardens housed entirely in cozy containers.
With its vivid pictures and enthusiastic conversation, The Gardener's
Journal offers a half-hour of inspiration for both the beginner
gardener and the knowledgeable veteran.
Since its debut in 1990, The Gardener's Journal has been praised
for its high quality photography and has continued to build a solid
rapport with the ever-growing gardening audience. Avid gardeners
appreciate the horticultural graphics in botanical Latin.
As a Master Gardener, Kathy Renwald volunteers on public gardening
projects in Southern Ontario and lectures on gardening topics. In
1994, she won the Communicator of the Year Award from Landscape
Ontario. She is a member of the Garden Writers of America, the Royal
Botanical Gardens and Friends of the University of Guelph Arboretum. |
